Relationship Manager III

Rockland Trust is currently seeking a Relationship Manager for our Osterville, MA office of the Investment Management Group, to support clients in the Cape Cod area.

The Relationship Manager is responsible for the day to day administration of accounts consisting of investment management portfolios, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and estates. The incumbent will be responsible for providing a very high level of client service to IMG's clients. This position requires that the Relationship Manager recognize and coordinate financial planning opportunities and estate plan reviews. The Relationship Manager is expected to support the new business efforts through teaming with new business officers and networking with centers of influence.

Required Skills:

• Commitment to staying up to date on investment management, wealth management, estate planning and financial planning strategies and tactics.
• Incumbent should have excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
• Ideal candidate will have proven abilities to develop and enhance their client relationships building trust and providing competent advice on all aspects of their wealth management needs.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 - 10 years' experience in the financial services industry with knowledge of trust administration, portfolio management, estate planning, estate settlement and relationship development.
• A Bachelor of Arts or Science is required. Master's is appreciated.
• Trust certifications, attendance at Trust Schools, law degree and CFP designation are all considered plusses.
