Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
- Perform structural design and analysis of precast concrete components and their connections using established engineering principles. Check production and field drawings to ensure they align with the design specifications.
- Coordinate the engineering phase of construction projects, collaborating closely with Sales, Estimating, Project Management, and Operations teams, as well as with external contacts including General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers.
- Engage with Production and Quality Control teams to develop a practical understanding of manufacturing operations.
- Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress, verify compliance with design specifications, and assist in the development and tracking of any required field repairs.
- Participate in research and development to support innovation. Tindall actively collaborates with universities and industry groups to remain at the forefront of technology and advancements in the precast concrete industry.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis is required.
- Licenses/Certifications: Passing the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a related engineering or construction role is preferred but not required.
