Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Advantage xPO is partnering with a global automotive leader to hire a Manufacturing Quality Engineer in Wayne, MI. This role is co-located in the Vehicle Assembly Plant and serves as the first line of defense for functional system quality, ensuring high standards on components and processes.

Pay Rate: $42.30/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard plant hours

Job Details:

• Identify and resolve quality issues on components and plant processes
• Collaborate with engineering teams to meet quality objectives, including Bronco roof sealing and testing
• Review warranty claims, customer feedback, and returned parts; develop corrective actions
• Support Stop Ships/Stop Builds, audits, engineering trials, running changes, and cost reduction initiatives
• Maintain quality documentation and prepare management reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in PD/Quality/Program/Manufacturing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement corrective actions
• Master's degree
• Six Sigma Black Belt training
• Design Release Engineer experience
