JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

This position will serve as a Non-Licensed Team Leader in an Outpatient Clinic with primary responsibilities of supervising a team of Outpatient therapists. The team leader will report to the Clinic Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative oversight for Outpatient therapists to include caseload management, handling of referrals, monitoring productivity, and offering guidance and support (ideally 8-10 administrative staff)
  • Attend administrative oversight with Clinic Manager
  • Monitor therapy referrals to make ensure there is a disposition within the time frames
  • Complete all required reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure appropriate onboarding and training for all new staff
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other clinical staff and leaders within Centerstone in order to better facilitate services for clients
  • Complete random client satisfaction surveys as directed
  • Assist in trouble shooting with outpatient therapists to ensure their success in providing services
  • Develop strategy for coverage of caseloads when an outpatient therapist position is vacant
  • Conduct staff evaluations at intervals determined for all staff on the team

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements

  • A Master's degree is required in one of the following fields: Clinical Psychology, Mental Health (MH) Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and/or a specialization in MH Counseling

  • License-eligible in respective discipline preferred.

OR

  • Applicants with a Master's degree in a related field (outside of the disciplines listed above) must meet the following criteria:

    • Completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health-related coursework.

    • Relevant coursework and work experience in the following areas:

      • Clinical treatment and treatment planning

      • Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders

      • Psychopathology

      • Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting

Years of Experience

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience providing treatment to individuals with mental health disorders is required.

  • Substance use disorders experience preferred.

  • Supervisory experience is preferred and/or experience providing behavioral health services with children and teens

Certification/Licensure

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and meet eligibility requirements to be covered under the organization's vehicle insurance policy.

$46,000.00--$64,470.00
