Maintenance Mechanic

STS Technical Services is hiring skilled Maintenance Mechanics in Clearwater, Florida. In this role, you will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, presses, laser cutters, welding machines, and facility electrical systems. The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter with hands-on experience across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computer-controlled systems.

• Install, maintain, and repair production and special-purpose machinery
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
  
• Assist with complex repairs and system adjustments
  
• Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track maintenance activities
  
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication
  
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems
  
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
  
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs independently, heavier items with assistance or lifting devices
  
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  
• Ability to wear PPE, including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and safety vest
  

• 
  

  Indoor and outdoor work in varying temperatures with exposure to noise and vibration
