Sanitation Foreperson

Kemps is a subsidiary of DFA(Dairy Farmers of America)

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 9pm-5:30am

$32.13/hour, Shift premium of $0.50/hour

The ideal candidate will also be proficient in communication and use of various forms of documentation including electronic systems. (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook), with strong attention to detail and organizational skills. While the position is heavily document-driven, it also requires the majority of time time being spent on the production floor to support operational needs, monitor employee practices and ensure accuracy of documentation during both sanitation and production periods.

Job Duties:

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in the development of and maintenance of Sanitation program (HACCP, Allergen, etc.) for a variety of products in compliance with customer, company and government regulations.
• Assists with the development of Sanitation procedures and paperwork.
• Assists with policy, procedures and paperwork to ensure that all Company and Customer standards are achieved.
• Aids the Sanitation Supervisor in providing direction to sanitation and production employees.
• Helps lead Continuous Improvement of facility sanitation.
• Aids in management of critical sanitation chemical supplies.
• Holds sanitation and production staff accountable to company standards.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills, computer literate, self-motivated and able to aid in making sound business decisions.
