About the Role TEKsystems is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Global Network Services team. This role is critical to ensuring a highly available and secure global network infrastructure that supports our expanding international footprint. You'll work across wired and wireless networks, voice systems, firewalls, cloud platforms, and collaborate with DevOps, AV, and Cybersecurity teams to deliver best-in-class network solutions. Key Responsibilities * Design, deploy, and support complex global network environments * Ensure network performance, stability, and uptime across all sites * Troubleshoot and resolve network issues; conduct root cause analysis * Collaborate with InfoSec to implement and enforce security policies * Lead network upgrades, expansions, and new implementations * Evaluate new technologies for deployment across TEKsystems' global footprint * Maintain up-to-date documentation and network diagrams * Provide Tier 3 support and guidance to Tier 1 IT teams * Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for critical network support Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field * 8+ years of experience in network engineering * 6+ years supporting global/SaaS environments * 4+ years in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) * 4+ years supporting SD-WAN solutions * 2+ years administering DDI solutions * Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA preferred Technical Expertise * Cisco, Meraki, Aruba Wireless, Palo Alto Networks * IP networks optimized for video streaming and broadcast * Protocols: HLS, MPEG-DASH, RTMP, SRT, RTP, IGMP * QoS, traffic shaping, multicast/unicast, ABR streaming * SDN/SDDC technologies (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, CloudStack) * Site-to-site IPsec tunnels, VPNs, firewalls * Wireless design and site survey tools * Packet capture and traffic analysis * Terraform (a plus) * IP telephony/Hosted PBX and Call Center systems (a plus) Soft Skills & Attributes * Motivated, curious self-starter * Creative problem-solver * Strong documentation and communication skills * Ability to work cross-functionally and mentor junior staff Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $120.00/hr.
