Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our IT team as an Entry-Level PC Support Technician. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in IT and gain hands-on experience supporting desktop computers, laptops, and basic hardware/software issues. Description TEKsystems client is hiring 4 PC technicians on a contract basis. These candidates will be building PC's using Windows Boot Manager, following the on screen protocols, and pulling the error logs for setup failures. They will also be building 15-30 computers a day, multiple happening at once, along with some wiping of older equipment as well. Key Responsibilities: * Provide first-level technical support for PC hardware, software, and peripheral devices. * Assist users with basic troubleshooting of Windows operating systems and common applications. * Set up and configure new desktop and laptop systems. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates, virus scans, and backups. * Document support requests and resolutions in the help desk system. * Escalate complex issues to technicians as needed. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; IT-related coursework or certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) a plus. * Basic understanding of computer hardware and software. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Willingness to learn and grow in a technical support environment.
