Your responsibilities
Job Summary Cultivate and manage relationships with high-value or strategically important segment accounts to drive profitability, customer satisfaction, and long-term retention. This position is fully remote supporting our Copper & Brass Sales Division East Region supporting multiple locations. (Acworth, GA - Independence, OH & Wallingford, CT) Job Description
  • Develop and execute segment-specific strategies aligned with overall growth and profitability goals, including sales processes, product positioning, and inventory planning.
  • Maintain deep expertise in customer needs, product applications, and competitive dynamics within the segment.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly, introduce tailored product solutions, and ensure responsive service to strengthen relationships.
  • Conduct strategic account planning to identify opportunities, address challenges, and ensure consistent account development.
  • Meet performance targets related to revenue growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor segment sales and marketing activities to provide strategic direction and optimize performance.
  • Create and implement market plans with measurable goals, actionable steps, and performance benchmarks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Pricing, Product Management, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key OEMs to enhance the company's presence and influence within the segment.
  • Proven success in strategic account management, customer relationship building, and sales growth.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Deep understanding of product applications, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams including Sales, Credit, Quality, and Operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues, deliver tailored solutions, and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field experience.
  • 5-7 years plus of progressive experience in sales, business development, and management roles, with strong industry and product knowledge.
