Department's Website: This role plays a critical part in ensuring the effective management of administrative functions and supporting key strategic initiatives for University leadership. Primary Responsibilities: * Workday Transactions: Manage essential administrative processes in the Workday system, including travel arrangements, expense reporting, financial approvals, and procurement requests, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. * Scheduling and Calendar Management: Coordinate and oversee complex calendars for senior leaders in the Office of Government and Community Relations, strategically prioritizing meetings and commitments to optimize time management and organizational efficiency. * Travel Management: Plan, book, and manage detailed travel itineraries for senior leaders and division staff, including transportation, lodging, and expense reconciliation, ensuring smooth and cost-effective travel experiences. * Event Coordination: Support the planning, logistics, and execution of office and organizational events, including meetings, retreats, and special functions, ensuring seamless operations and positive participant experiences. * Guest and Visitor Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for office visitors and external stakeholders, managing logistics, hospitality, and security protocols to deliver a professional and welcoming experience. Other duties as assigned. This role is essential in ensuring that operational and strategic activities are executed smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring a professional, organized, and proactive approach to managing high-level administrative duties in a fast-paced, academic setting. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
