Job Summary

The ITS Vendor Management Office (VMO) team is responsible for building and leading end-to-end strategic vendor management capabilities for Prisma Health ITS. The mission of the IT VMO is to manage all IT vendor relationships financial processes, and contracts to ensure alignment with the IT Strategy, optimizing cost savings and improving vendor service levels/key performance indicators, and increase satisfaction across the organization. The ITS VMO Financial Analyst will research and analyze financial information to help ITS make well informed decisions. In addition, they will prepare operating and capital budgets, write reports, monitor financial movements, and assist with action plans.

Essential Functions

  • Prepares monthly internal Financial Review. Prepares monthly financials, including current period performance, in-depth financial trend, variance analysis, and P&L analysis for Administration.

  • Manage Service Now processing purchase order requests and invoices from Mgrs./Directors providing coding to the appropriate cost center. Reclassifies expenses as needed. Reports on variances. Works to create an action plan to rectify gaps.

  • Calculates monthly accruals, analyzes, and reconciles monthly financial reports. Submits and tracks adjustments to ensure accuracy of department actuals and budgets. Collaborates with ITS Purchasing, Accounting and Finance for ensuring smooth procurement processes. Track and resolve issues as needed.

  • Assists in the timely development of annual IT operating budgets and provides support to IT senior leadership during the budget process ensuring budget assumptions are accurate. Reviews and monitors budget input and spread to minimize budget error.

  • Tracks capital balances and close projects when appropriate. Provides monthly reporting that includes details of what has been applied to the PO/Project and what has not been spent but committed.

  • Runs asset reports and distribute to directors for review. Completes paperwork to dispose or transfer assets. Monitors depreciation expense and ensure it is recorded to the correct cost center.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or Business-related field of study

  • Experience - Three (3) years of business operations experience

In Lieu Of

  • In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, an equivalent combination of work/academic experience may be considered (Associate degree and five years of experience)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)

  • Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)

  • Data entry skills

  • Mathematical skills

  • Project Management skills

  • Working knowledge of ITS hardware and software contracts including terminology, budgeting and vendor relation management preferred
