Responsible for leading a team to advise on organizational change management strategies for field and corporate facing projects. Focuses on changes to business processes, corporate/market initiatives, mergers and or organization structures. Leads team members to effectively consult, educate and advise on effective OCM strategies. Devises QDM Communications strategies and administers QDM programs like Purple Promise Quality Award (PPQA) and quality councils. Supports the QDM experts' program and helps corporate and field users to put QDM into practice every day.

Essential Functions

  • Management responsibilities include but are not limited to hiring, terminations, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, performance management and staff productivity.
  • Plans, organizes staffs, directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the Network Service Support team, Advisors and Engineers to find trends and create processes Implements and administers procedures and programs as necessary.
  • Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hiring, terminations, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, performance management and staff productivity.
  • Plans, organizes staffs, directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the OCM/QDM team. Implements and administers procedures and programs as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership in support of organizational Change management behaviors and strategic initiatives.
  • Promotes and educated in the use of Organizational Change management best practices, processes, procedures methodologies and documentation to enhance capabilities throughout the business through regular interactions with leadership, project managers, OCM advisors and regional managers.
  • Leads field readiness assessment efforts to gauge the preparedness of the impacted change environment and formulates mitigation strategies to ensure service and customers are not impacted by transformational changes
  • Coordinates numerous efforts with implementation owners to ensure effectiveness without disruption of field operations, causing saturation and ensuring adoption for engagement
  • Acts as the QDM owner, developing strategies and programs to ensure QDM is used daily to improve our corporate and field operations
  • Develops and maintains relationships to influence leaders, project sponsors and teams enabling optimal support, including facilitation, tracking and reporting on projects and training
  • Builds strategies to continuously improve OCM and QDM programs
  • Informs leadership of the risks and opportunities of Change saturation
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, Education or related field required.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) years' experience in significant cross-functional change management and project experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated success as primary lead for cross functional and change management/QDM initiatives.

High level of collaboration skills to work between groups - corporate sponsors/stakeholders and corporate to field network.

Experience influencing leaders/sponsors on initiatives, needs and change management solutions.

Demonstrated Change Management methodologies, behaviors and solutions experience.

Certified Change Management Professional and/or lean/six sigma required.

Project Management certification required.

QDM Expert will be required while in the position.

Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.

Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.

Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals.

Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.

Ability to mentor, coach and act as a knowledge resource to other employees.

Additional Details: Position is preferred to be domiciled in Pittsburgh, PA but open to remote
