Mid-Market Account Manager (MAM)
Location: Columbia, SC
Department: Enterprise Sales


Overview:
Segra is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Mid-Market Account Manager (MAM) to manage and grow relationships within our existing customer base. This role is focused on retaining current revenue, reducing churn, and driving new sales opportunities with small to mid-market enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer success, skilled in solution selling, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing upsell opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Develop and present customized proposals using Segra's full suite of products and services.
  • Re-term existing accounts as needed to maintain revenue stability.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Sales Engineering to resolve issues and deliver seamless service.
  • Accurately manage sales activity, forecasting, and customer records using Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM tools.
  • Support provisioning and delivery of products by coordinating with internal teams and customer contacts.
  • Proactively hunt for new business opportunities within the current customer base.


Qualifications:



  • Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field-or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience in enterprise-level sales, preferably within ILEC/CLEC or managed services.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet revenue targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
