POSITION SPECIFICS

TheOperations Divisionof theOffice of Physical Plant (OPP)inFinance & Businessis seeking ahighly motivated, positive, and team-oriented Administrative Assistant (Intermediate or Senior Support).

This position will report to theOperations Administrative Support Managerand be responsible for assisting theOPP Service Garage, Solid Waste, Equipment, and Labor Services Unitwithin OPP.

Work Schedule:
There is potential for ahybrid schedulefor this position. Any questions related to the schedule or the potential for hybrid work should be relayed to the hiring manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providecustomer serviceto a large organization and external vendors

  • Budget/Billing processingand reporting

  • Serve as atechnical/functional experton garage-specific software

  • Order partsand maintain physical inventory

  • Assign and maintain fuel cardsand process billing for fuel

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity withTechnical Service employeesand thebargaining contractis highly desired

  • Proficient knowledge of the following software, and the ability to easily learn additional software, is preferred:

    • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint)

    • SAP Concur

    • SIMBA

    • Adobe Acrobat

    • Zoom

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

If filled as Administrative Assistant - Senior Support, this position requires: Associate Degree 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None If filled as Administrative Assistant - Intermediate Support, this position requires: General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS) 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $38,300.00 - $61,000.00.
