Loading Operator

A Day in the Life:

The Loading position is assigned to Loading product out to Customers either by Rail or by Truck in the shipping Department and works a rotating shift. Health and welfare benefits begin on date of hire.

Position Details:

Rotating Shift, 5 shifts on days 6a-4p, 2 days off, 5 shifts on nights 4p-2a

What You'll Be Doing:

• Must actively participate in Bunge's Employee Safety Involvement Plan
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and all employees
• Required to follow all HAACP procedures and guidelines to ensure product safety and quality
• Ability to routinely access and work at the top of the facility's elevators and bins
• Operate rail switching and shuttle wagon
• Operate One Weigh scale program
• Properly follow sampling procedures
• Must learn to inspect trucks and railcars before loading and clean railcars when necessary.
• Maintain equipment and report any deficiencies to management
• General housekeeping of the plant
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Valid Driver's license required
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment
• Some mechanical background including the ability to recognize signs of operational failure
• Must be able to proficiently communicate, read, and write in English for the purposes of record keeping and training
• Must be willing and able to work rotating shift
• Overtime will be required both as part of the normal schedule and to provide coverage as needed.
