Job Summary Responsible for the planning, strategy, organization and direction for strategy, growth and outreach of Prisma Health Home Health, Hospice, Hospital at Home, Durable Medical Equipment, and Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Health Plans. Lead the intake teams in all related service lines. Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve growth targets, including market expansion and service line development. Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders such as hospitals, physician groups, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living facilities (ALFs), and payors to drive referrals and partnerships. Responsible for leading the logistics and operational tactics necessary to support program expansion including Certificate of Need requirements, facilitating hiring/recruiting of staff to support services, and development of business plans including financial models.

Market analysis & expansion: *Conduct market research in collaboration with marketing and planning teams to identify growth opportunities, underserved areas, and emerging trends in home health and hospice care12. *Develop and implement strategies to expand into new geographies and deepen market penetration in existing locations Collaborate with community liaisons or business development professionals to align divisional strategies with system strategies. Stakeholder engagement & outreach *Act as the primary liaison between referral sources and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. *Maintain and expand the customer base by building and sustaining rapport with key consumers and identifying new business opportunities. Operational Integration *Monitor and report on the cost-effectiveness of business development efforts and ensure alignment with organizational objectives2. *Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to align business development with patient care delivery Travel and Outreach *Travel regularly to meet with stakeholders, attend industry events, and oversee business development initiatives in various regions Consults and collaborates with service line directors, administrators, senior management and medical staff leadership in planning to meet system goals and objectives and to ensure continuity and quality of patient care. Provides operational support to service lines with any Certificate of Need completions, assist in the hiring of staff required to support service line growth. Provide support as needed. Analyze industry trends, competitor performance, and internal capabilities to inform strategic decisions. Establish and track KPIs related to growth, referral patterns, admissions, market penetration, and patient outcomes. Leads the intake teams for HH, Hospice and PACE ensuring census growth that supports a positive patient experience and high team member engagement. - Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
- Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have two or more direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Education - Master's Degree - MBA, MHA, MPH or similar
- Experience - 5 years of leadership experience in home health, hospice, or related healthcare services.
In Lieu Of
- In lieu of the education and experience noted above, a Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of leadership experience in home health, hospice, or related healthcare services may be accepted.
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
- Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)
- Strong strategic planning, financial modeling, and market analysis capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Travel to local and regional sites, partner meetings, or industry conferences as needed
