Job Description:

The main function of the SVP Manufacturing Specialist is to analyze present and proposed manufacturing processes and technologies to determine improvements to processes, equipment, and automation to optimize manufacturing processes, meet present and new regulations, reduce waste, increase capacity, and develop and implement methods to increase thru-put while complying with cGMP's.

1. Provide effective day-to-day leadership and oversight for small groups ranging in size from two to twelve technicians.
2. Identify applications where technology can be applied to improving SOPs, yields, increasing efficiency, and reducing waste.
3. Evaluate and propose planning techniques to assist in the successful completion of defined projects.
4. Assist in the selection and installation of manufacturing process equipment.
5. Identify, recommend, and implement solutions to process problems in Manufacturing.
6. Direct the integration of new products from Development into Manufacturing.
7. Coordinate required activities with other departments as to ensure completion of defined projects.
8. Write, review, and maintain documentation for multiple projects.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelors of Science in Biology, Chemistry or hard science desired
• No experience required w/ bachelors
• 2 Years Manufacturing experience w/high school diploma required
• Lead experience required
• Pharmaceutical experience desired
• Limited /elementary vocational required
• Advanced vocational/ specialized knowledge desired
• Microsoft and excel experience required
• PowerPoint experience desired
• SAP and ETQ experience desired
• Mechanical Aptitude and Manual Dexterity required
• Must be knowledgeable of Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Systems.
• Must be able to keep abreast of technological advances in automation, computerization, manufacturing techniques, and government regulations.
• Understand the concepts behind cGMP and the packaging process which include: checking production schedules, getting required and labels, inspection , labeling, shrink paperwork wrapping and packaging required
• Ability to lift 60 pounds unassisted required
• 14/14 Corrected Near vision, pass color deficiency test required
• Working in aseptic areas and allergen exposure required
• Repetitive activity, pushing , pulling, twisting and prolonged sitting required

Shift: Weekday days,Monday-Wednesday E/O Thursday 6am-6pm

Compensation & Benefits:

This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.

• Hiring Wage: $30.99 - $41.93 hr. Depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role
  • Shift Differential pay is available for this position, and is determined by hours worked on selected shift.
