| Description The Staffing Supervisor is responsible for building and maintaining a team of highly engaged caregivers whose primary commitment is sparking lives. This position provides direct supervision to Caregivers through onboarding, coaching and performance management. The Staffing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a right-fit caregiver for each unique client and to deliver caregiving services per the client's chosen schedule. This role implements schedules that meet the client's needs. The Staffing Supervisor must be a detail-oriented individual who understands the time-sensitive demands and critical nature of the role. Position: Staffing Supervisor for Community Home Care Salary Range: $57,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience Service Area: Hybrid (between work from home and office, must be able to travel to the corporate office in St. Louis Park if/when needed) Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.  Position Functions & Responsibilities: 
  
 Caregiver supervision:Provide real-time Caregiver coaching/mentoring through a combination of telephonic and in-person touch points.Ensure caregiver understanding of, and accountability to, Lifespark policies, procedures, and best practices.Organize and facilitate regular Caregiver meetings and events. Communicate, reinforce, and hold Caregivers accountable to Lifespark's call-in protocol and expectations.Conduct Caregiver annual reviews. Regularly apply the People Analyzer to caregiving team members to evaluate alignment with company core values and fit for position. Follow Lifespark recognition programs to encourage and reward great performance. Communicate Caregiver resignations and terminations per Lifespark policy. Scheduling
 
    
 Collaborate with RN Case Manager to provide right-fit caregiver for every clientMaintain consistent schedules with sufficient flexibility to ensure every shift is staffed with the right-fit caregiverCommunicate and confirm all scheduling changes to clients and employees proactivelyInform RN Case Manager of any scheduling conflicts or concernsProblem solves to ensure all call-offs and special requests are staffedAdhere to the "No Shift Goes Unstaffed" promiseTrack employee availability and maintains a minimum of six-weeks availability in advanceImplement established staffing patterns and schedules that meet client's needs and department financial goals.
 
Client Billing
 
    
 Knowledgeable regarding service offerings and bill ratesResolve billing questions or escalate as necessary to the Operations Manager
 
Payroll Processing
 
    
 Caregiver payroll data entry and batchingApproves and processes time off requests
 
Participate in Lifespark's Event Management process including initiating reports, escalation of events and investigationsPlays a key role in delivering the Lifespark Experience
 
    
 Establish rapport with all clients/family members at SOCAdhere to the Staffing Call/Visit Standards to proactively seek feedback, address concerns and documents all visits and calls in the EMRFollows up on all calls, emails from clients and loved ones same dayFollows Lifespark's Service Recovery practice as needed to handle complaints and serious issues
 
Manages Caregiver labor costs
 
    
 Seek approval for overtime only as last resortSeek approval for incentives only as a last resort
 
Participate in on-call program rotationParticipate in weekend coverage as neededEnsure all caregivers meet regulatory requirements including orientation, skill competencies, in-service/education, TB, Hepatitis B, background checks, DMV, I-9 and all other applicable regulations AND proof is documented in the personnel record
 Qualifications: 
  
 High school diploma or equivalency required.1 year of experience in Healthcare, Staffing, Medical Administration, or similar position required.Must be proficient with technology and technological applications: Microsoft Office, Smart Phone, Calendaring, Wi-Fi, EMR, Internet Browsing, PrinterMust possess:
