What You'll Do



Summary/Objective:

The Mortgage Servicing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all mortgage data and applicable servicing related information.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage DCU's investor mortgage portfolios including calling in daily remittances, payoffs, monthly reconciliation, delinquency reporting, and modifications.
  • Responsible for the accounting, analysis and administration of all mortgage escrow accounts including but not limited to: taxes, PMI, homeowners, force-placed insurance, and delinquent payments.
  • Coordinate and correspond with members, vendors and employees for all mortgage servicing needs.
  • Prepare, process and fund all loans for sale to the secondary market investors.
  • Maintain all interest rate changes and ensure all general ledgers are current and up to date.
  • Provide service excellence by answering phone calls regarding all aspects mortgage servicing.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).




What You'll Need



Education and Experience Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years mortgage or related experience


Additional Eligibility Requirements:



  • Technical Skills (word, excel, outlook etc.)
  • Professional Written and Verbal Communication Skills
