What You'll Be Doing
- Participate in Agile planning sessions, design reviews, and team retrospectives.
- Contribute to the architecture and development of scalable web applications.
- Design and implement end-user features across the full stack: database, server-side, and front-end.
- Maintain and optimize existing web applications; identify and resolve bugs efficiently.
- Ensure robust data structures and integrity through thoughtful schema design and migrations.
- Build secure integrations with third-party services and APIs.
- Apply secure coding practices and stay informed of web security best practices.
- Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to version control systems (Git).
- Manage and update user stories/tasks in project management tools.
- Collaborate with QA and support teams to debug and resolve issues.
- Implement automated tests to maintain software quality and reliability.
- Demonstrate new features and gather feedback from stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
Technical Expertise
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Familiarity with templating frameworks (e.g., JSP, Thymeleaf).
- Understanding of MVC and SOA architectural patterns.
- Strong JavaScript skills and experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, jQuery).
- Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS/LESS/SASS, and AJAX patterns.
- Proficiency in working with JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.
- Hands-on experience with source control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with code quality tools and continuous integration pipelines.
