This role will support the Hitachi Americas division and will be based in the US.

Reporting to the Regional CMO, theSenior Manager, Account-Based Marketing (ABM)will play a pivotal role in driving pipeline growth and prospect engagement across 100+ key accounts in North America, with a primary focus on the U.S. market. This role is ideal for a creative, energetic, and collaborative marketer with a proven track record of designing and executing multi-channel ABM campaigns.

You will work closely with sales teams to develop and execute tailored programs that warm up audiences, create meaningful connections, and drive attendance at field marketing events. Your ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution:

    • Design and execute innovative ABM campaigns (1:1, 1:few, 1:many) across digital, physical, face-to-face, and other channels to engage key accounts and drive pipeline growth for Hitachi's B2B large enterprise solutions including technology products and services in the Mobility, Energy, Industrial, and Digital industries.

    • Develop tailored messaging and content strategies for multiple industries, ensuring relevance and resonance with target audiences.

    • Leverage modern marketing tools and techniques to deliver personalized, impactful experiences.

    • Perform account intelligence: segmentation, prospect identification, creating a marketing database of potential prospects for marketing campaigns.

  • Collaboration with Sales:

    • Partner closely with sales teams to align ABM strategies with account priorities and revenue goals.

    • Act as a trusted advisor to sales, providing insights, tools, and resources to support account engagement efforts.

    • Partner with sales to create accountability with systems / processes to assure timely and high-quality sales follow up on marketing activities (assuring handoffs are made systematically and follow-ups happen)

    • Regularly communicate campaign performance and account insights to sales stakeholders.

  • Audience Engagement:

    • Identify and segment key audiences within target accounts, designing programs to warm them up and drive meaningful engagement.

    • Develop strategies to drive attendance and participation in field marketing events, ensuring alignment with broader ABM goals.

  • Performance Measurement:

    • Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of ABM campaigns, using data to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI.

    • Monitor pipeline impact and engagement metrics, ensuring alignment with revenue objectives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience:

    • 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3-5 years focused on account-based marketing.

    • Proven track record of designing and executing successful ABM campaigns across diverse marketing mediums and channels.

    • Proven experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on large enterprise technology solutions.

    • Strong understanding or work experience with B2B buyers in the Mobility, Energy, Industrial, and Digital industries a definite plus

    • Combination of education and work-experience will be considered, MBA a plus.

  • Skills & Expertise:

    • Deep understanding of modern marketing techniques, tools, and platforms (e.g., marketing automation, CRM, ABM platforms, analytics tools).

    • Exceptional people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with sales teams and other stakeholders.

    • Creative problem-solver with a persistent, energetic approach to overcoming challenges.

    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.

    • Understanding of the B2B Buyer and technology solutions landscape

For California only (as required by California's Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162): The expected salary for this position in our California office is $126,648 - $150,310. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi America's variable pay program, subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
