In this role, you will be a key contributor to the success of the materials team, actively driving operational excellence through hands-on execution and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires a dynamic professional who applies deep expertise in Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Control, and Purchasing to coordinate, streamline, and enhance material flow across all departments.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Blauvelt, NY.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bin,palletize, andrepackageinventory to ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Protectinventory from damage, corrosion, and deterioration.
  • Maintaininventory levels through part rotation, bin restocking, and replenishment.
  • Inspectinventory and storage areas for accuracy and condition.
  • Performcycle counts and support inventory reconciliation.
  • Maintainaccurate records of inventory locations and system stock levels.
  • Updateinventory data in ERP systems and manage computer changes to inventory items.
  • Designandmaintaininventory layout, labeling, and locating systems.
  • Liaisewith inventory control to determine appropriate minimum/maximum levels.
  • ExecuteKanban ordering and inventory replenishment processes.
  • Work closelywith accounting to resolve receiving and shipping discrepancies.
  • Coordinatewith sales administration to address order-related issues.
  • Supportandpromote5S initiatives to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • *Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Company management.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must have Forklift Certification
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in material handling, including receiving, shipping, inventory control.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including drug screen, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Kanban, Lean
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MicroSoft Suite

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company's Blauvelt, NY. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 2,500 pounds using manual or electric pallet jacks
  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.

Pay Range

This is a union position, and the starting hourly rate is $30.45 top rate for position is $33.47 which will be achieved by end of 1 year of service as long as job performance is meets expectations or above.
