Position Summary

  • Provides Shipping and Receiving services by loading and unloading material from trailers/containers, ensuring material is free of damage. Stages resin and production supplies for production use and stages finished goods from production line to warehouse for storage and order fulfillment.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive materials from outside vendors and other site locations.
  • Unloads trailers and stages materials on the shipping floor.
  • Utilize SAP to document receipt of incoming items for production.
  • Completes 7 Point inspection form for export shipments to comply with C-TPAT guidelines
  • Monitors incoming and outgoing materials, verifying identifying information for accuracy.
  • Puts away inbound items. Examines incoming materials to ensure that they are intact and damage free.
  • Pull resin samples and identify all resins with applicable labels, including certification labels indicating ready for production use
  • Stages resin and production supplies for daily production use and stages finished goods from production line to warehouse for storage and order fulfillment.
  • Stages and labels all customer orders
  • Loads trailers for customer orders by following pull sheets provided by Warehouse coordinator
  • Ensures that the trailers are inspected, and safety procedures are followed.
  • Inspect lift daily and perform maintenance on the vehicle and report any maintenance deficiencies.
  • Follow all GMP guidelines and Shipping procedures
  • Complete PFS duties on a daily, weekly, monthly basis based on required task.
  • Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products
  • Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels
  • Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods

Qualifications

Education:



  • High School diploma or equivalent


Requirements:



  • Forklift Certification
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to interface effectively with employees, vendors and customers of all levels.
  • Flexibility within a high performance work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to work without close supervision.
  • Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained.
  • Able to verify data for accuracy with high level of detail.



Other Requirements:



  • Computer knowledge and 3-5 years of Windows applications, SAP and SYMPLE experience preferred.
