Company Name: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Job Title: PMAD Social Worker/Therapist Department Name: Postpartum Depression , Center for Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders, Reports To: Clinical Director Job Code: H0838 Dept/CC#: 1171024 Summary of Job Function Provide psychotherapy services to mental health consumers in the Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder Center, including those who have suffered a pregnancy loss, Conduct new patient evaluations and provide ongoing individual therapy, Facilitate group therapy and/or support groups as needed, Works in collaboration with APN and PMAD team regarding patient treatment, Prepares and maintains records and reports regarding patient treatment and progress as required by regulatory standards and organizational policy, Qualifications Masters prepared Mental Health Practitioner LCSW, LPC, PsyD with a current New Jersey License, Experience/training in psychotherapy, individual, group, and family experience, PMH-C Certification Job Specific Requirements Demonstrates strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills in the treatment of women with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and those who have had pregnancy loss, Understands the cultural basis of client s health beliefs, illness behaviors and attitude toward and acceptance of treatment Formulates treatment plans, Helps formulate individual treatment plans through establishing patient treatment needs and methods of addressing these needs, Areas addressed include: observed psychopathology, psycho/social assessments, legal status, daily functioning, available community supports, educational status and the accurate and timely assessment of current mental status, Conducts new patient evaluations, Performs direct psychotherapy treatment services, such as, individual, group and family therapies according to established goals of patient treatment plans, Facilitates group therapy and/or support groups as needed, Functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team, Collaborates with APN and PMAD team to assess patient care, treatment plan and therapy dynamics, Identifies safety risks/concerns to team members, Maintains clinical records, Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports and documents in a timely fashion according to CBMC standards and policies, Participates in meetings, conferences and workshops, RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer |
