Torch Technologies is seeking a talented Missile Defense Radar Analyst/Engineer to join a well-established team in an AVMC lab that supports the development, test, and fielding of missile defense radar systems.

As a Junior Radar Engineer/Analyst your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • The selected candidate will work with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems, tactical software & hardware, and all-digital representations of complex missile defense radars such as AN/TPY-2 TM, LRDR, SBX, UEWR, and CD.
  • Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates complex hardware devices and/or systems.
  • Diagnoses malfunctions in existing products and makes improvements or modifications to produce desired results.
  • Compiles and evaluates design and test data and prepares technical specifications.
  • Analyzes, develops and recommends design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products and/or processes.

Job Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship.

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or related discipline is required.

  • 2 years related engineering or related discipline experience.

  • Ability to collaborate in a multi-contractor team environment to respond to short-notice requests for data.

  • Ability to work independently to develop new analysis tools.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • The position requires that the candidate currently holds an active secret level security clearance to access classified information.

  • Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in the candidate being ineligible for this position.
