* Apply best practices in software development engineering, including DevOps, CI/CD, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies, to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
* Develop and maintain robust REST-based APIs, leveraging messaging and streaming technologies to facilitate seamless data exchange.
* Build and optimize data integration pipelines using modern frameworks and tools, ensuring data accuracy and availability.
* Create comprehensive automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests for data interfaces and pipelines, guaranteeing system integrity.
* Collaborate with development teams to align with support strategy guidelines and ensure new systems meet production standards.
* Contribute to and maintain a comprehensive knowledge repository, ensuring critical information is accessible and up-to-date.
* Fulfill requests for data and other activities requiring access to production systems, adhering to strict security and compliance protocols. **Must-Have Qualifications:** * 3+ years of experience in software development roles with a strong focus on software development and data products.
* 3+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of data integration design patterns.
* 3+ years of experience implementing software development engineering best practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, Scrum, and Kanban.
* 2+ years of hands-on coding experience in Java, building REST-based APIs, and utilizing messaging and streaming technologies.
* 2+ years of hands-on experience utilizing Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and other technologies to build data integration pipelines.
* 2+ years of experience writing automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests for data interfaces and data pipelines.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, communication, and negotiation. **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** * Experience with scheduling tools.
* Familiarity with various development tools.
* Experience with NoSQL databases.
* Experience with cloud technologies.
* Prior experience within the financial services industry.
