Intern - Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:


Under the direction of the Trade Operations Leader. The Logistics Coordinator Intern will support the daily operations of the logistics, supply chain, and trade compliance teams. Responsibilities include assisting with shipment tracking, coordinating deliveries, maintaining shipping and customs documentation, and helping ensure compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations. The intern will gain hands-on experience in logistics operations, import/export procedures, and entry-level trade compliance, while developing problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Functions:



  • Assist with International Shipments: Help prepare shipping labels, track deliveries, and coordinate small sample and project shipments
  • Support Trade Compliance Tasks: Learn how to assign HTS codes, confirm Country of Origin and assist with ACE export filings under supervision.
  • Help Resolve Shipment Issues: Monitor tracking updates, escalate problems to the team, and help file claims for lost or damaged shipments.
  • Learn Freight Processes: Support RFQ requests, spot quote tracking, and basic invoice reviews for accuracy.
  • Assist with Audits & Reporting: Help gather documentation, organize data, and prepare simple reports for freight and compliance reviews.
  • Support Denied Party Screening: Learn how screenings work and follow up with users when needed.
  • General Team Support: Perform other tasks as assigned to support logistics and compliance projects.


Success in this role will require



  • Eager to learn, open to feedback, and ready to gain hands on experience in logistics and trade compliance.
  • Strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and excellence in all tasks.
  • Self-motivated with determination and discipline to achieve results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Secondary language skills a plus; Spanish preferred
