Pasteurizer Operator

Meadow Gold Dairy in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring for an adaptable Sanitation Technician (Sanitation-Plant) to perform all purpose duties to include proper clean-up and sanitation tasks to ensure optimum quality products. Ensures products and processes are clean and sterile by following regulatory standards and established Company policies and procedures.

Job Duties:

The Pasteurizer will be responsible for making and pasteurizing all products. Will learn the cleanup and sanitation of all equipment. Will be licensed in the state of Utah within 6 months as a pasteurizer. Will be a Receiver one day a week. Will receive tankers and take inventory of holdover product. Will be responsible for the product you make. Will complete all paperwork including lot numbers, solids, and butterfat tests.

SCHEDULE:

Wed, Th, Fri, Sat 2 AM-12 PM Days Off: Sunday-Monday-Tuesday

COMPENSATION:

$29.15/hour

+ $0.50/hour shift differential for hours worked between 6pm-5am

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Effective verbal and written communications skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks

• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend for extended periods

• Must be ableto lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary

• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays

• Will frequently be exposed to cleaning chemicals
