The UVA Engineering Office of Pre-Award Research Administration is seeking a Grants and Contracts Administrator. The Pre-Award office provides comprehensive service in proposal submission, post-submission pre-award administration, budgeting support for internal and external grant applications, as well as some life cycle award management services and non-funded agreement initiation. The incumbent will work as part of a team and under guidance to manage proposal submission and post-submission pre-award activities related to research and sponsored projects, such as federal grants, foundation grants, and industrial contracts, as well as for internal applications. Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements Education: Associate's degree. Experience: At least two years of grant and contract experience; two additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. Physical Demands: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. This role does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and/or programs. Preferred Qualifications Licensure: Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification. Experience and Skills:

This position is located in Charlottesville, VA, and provides the option to work in a hybrid environment with a minimum of two days per week on-site, following the University's flex-work guidelines.
