Location: This position is onsite at the Royal Oak Service Center located in Royal Oak, Michigan. The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate Scheduler is responsible for supporting the coordination, scheduling, daily work and planning of resources specific to the assigned business unit.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in execution of a daily plan for the work; may include organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, short-range forecasting, etc.
  • Communicate effectively in line with supported business unit processes/procedures; may include interacting with supervision, field operations, or other operational supporting groups
  • Perform business unit specific tasks as needed; may include various reporting and taking appropriate action, identifying training opportunities, creating standards, etc.
  • Support emergent matters in line with the business units' processes/procedures; may include escalations, volume monitoring, etc.
  • Utilize various systems to assist in monitoring work, creating/submitting orders and requests, observing data and making scheduling adjustments as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned or may be necessary

  • Technical skills to utilize various systems


EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma
