Job Description

The Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery is seeking outstanding candidates for a clinical faculty position specializing in Vascular Surgery. Promoted ranks higher than Assistant Professor are negotiable and contingent upon qualifications. The clinical experience includes advanced open and endovascular techniques including cutting edge catheter-based techniques and a myriad of complex open procedures. Facilities and resources include a fully functional and well-equipped Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, state of the art Hybrid Rooms, and a dedicated operating room staff.

The Division of Vascular Surgery is the only tertiary academic medical center and Level 1 trauma center in the middle of the state and faculty are actively involved in the training of medical students, residents, and fellows. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams. A strong commitment to patient care, teaching and scholarly activity is essential. Additional interest in establishing a growing community practice and developing a collegial referral network for the University of Missouri will be important.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery. Must be able to obtain Missouri State Medical License and become credentialed in applicable MU Health Care facilities.
