This position had direct sales responsibility for developing new business and managing existing business for top tier assigned areas . This position also has responsibility to develop and grow relationships with a select group of strategically important customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of top tier customer accounts with responsibility for retention, growth, and new business. Ensure customers derive maximum value from our products. Prepare implementation plans and lead customer on-boarding. Work closely with customers to identify needs and consult on best practices for product solutions.
- Proactively lead a strategic account planning process for key target accounts as assigned. Develop contacts, build account plans and coordinate the involvement of company personnel for customer visits and presentations to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
Creating a continuous stream of qualified leads by Identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options. - Maintains relationships with key customers and clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending service improvements. Prepare and deliver effective client presentations, including stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Serve as a leader and mentor among the sales team. Assist with developing new sales strategies, implementing new procedures, and training both current and new sales representatives.
- Maintain and update an accurate database of all sales opportunities Update account records, add and maintain contacts, and track all sales activity on a daily basis. Prepare necessary accurate reports.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or other related field
- 6+ years in business to business sales experience
- Proven track record of sales techniques and success
- Motivation for Sales, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Energy Level, Negotiation, Prospecting Skills, Meeting Sales Goals, Creativity, Sales Planning
- Proficient knowledge of Office Suite products and Contact Management Software programs
- Managed assigned areas to achieve specific revenue goals
- Strong negotiation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluent in Microsoft Office suite of products, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.
- Fluent in administrative functions of Salesforce.com
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work for long periods at computer/desk.
- Standard office environment.
- Maintain the 60% travel requirement but allow flexible scheduling and advance planning to balance work/life demands.
- Enable a hybrid work model allowing a mix of remote work and office presence to provide flexibility.
- Facilitate regular virtual or in-person team meetings and peer mentoring sessions to foster a supportive sales culture.
