Job Description

This position is responsible for planning and designing manufacturing processes in specific facilities and will be involved in the day-to-day technical side of various machine operations.



  • Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and design layout of equipment and workspace efficiency to maximize production
  • Provides facilities engineering support
  • Design, details, and implements profitable processes and equipment solutions, which optimize balance of safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Determines parts and tools needed to best suite layout design and product specification.
  • Develops programs to keep production on schedule and meet customer requirements
  • Demonstrates the understanding of optimizing people and material information flow in a manufacturing environment
  • Deals with customer specific issues and situations that may arise; recalculates and redesigns prints for production if they do not fit capabilities.
  • Works with production staff to improve throughput
  • Leads projects related to process improvements
  • Provides solutions using Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and Six Sigma methods
  • Participates in special division projects as needed (i.e., plant upgrades, etc.)


Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually

Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • Skilled at materials and quality control processes
  • Ability to organize, plan, and multitask
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of related experience
