Summary: As the Director of Technical Quotes, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of new quotes, ensuring the timely and accurate review of quote packages, and developing strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the quoting process. You will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and contributing to the company's overall success. Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the technical quotes team and site quote teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. * Develop and implement strategies to improve the quoting process and achieve departmental goals. * Collaborate with sales, engineering, supply chain and production teams to ensure accurate and competitive quotes. * Analyze manufacturing processes, material purchasing data, and customer requirements to assist with development of production and pricing strategies. * Monitor and evaluate the performance of the technical quotes team, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews. * Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. * Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the quoting process. * Manage and prioritize workload. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Education / Experience * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. * Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a quoting, sales, or pricing department. * 5+ years of experience in manufacturing. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. * Proficiency in quoting software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Highly proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Excel Abilities * Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds 5% or less of the workday * Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday * Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, and reason * Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday. * Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday. * Travel globally up to 20% of the year. Education: Geographical Location: Remote Physical Location: Remote - Texas Shift: Shift 1 Work Schedule: No Set Schedule Full Time Compensation Range: $144,344.00 to $182,000.00 USD Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
