Job Description

Here's what you can expect as a Strategy Analyst at DaVita:

We are looking for a Strategy Analyst to join our Corporate Real Estate Team (Team Genesis). As a Strategy Analyst on our team, you will help support and manage DaVita's real estate portfolio across 2,800 locations throughout the United States. You will be challenged to critically think through complex problems and help solve critical business issues that affect our portfolio of clinics, operational expenses and capital deployment.

We are looking for someone who can offer administrative support to various systems across the enterprise and department. Also, we are looking for someone who can analyze and assess large amounts of data to drive actionable insights. On our team, we will ask you to use your analytical mindset to drive change in the areas where you find fulfillment. Your work will be visible to senior leadership, and you'll have opportunities to present your findings to executive leaders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

Analytics

  • Strong foundation in quantitative concepts (e.g. financial, statistical, forecasting, etc.)

  • Ability to simplify complex or ambiguous financial, business and operational problems through hypotheses-based analytical frameworks

  • Desire to challenge status quo, ask provocative questions, and develop recommendations

  • Knack for quickly internalizing how business processes work and the role that people play within the Village

  • Systems administrative support; the real estate team utilizes several different systems across a large number of users; this role will help support those systems and drive reporting and analytics to help drive value for all stakeholders

Accountability

  • Create, develop and update various dashboards and data visualizations for the Commercial Real Estate department, utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, Anaplan and Tableau.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, identifying and acting on most important business problems to solve

Team

  • Contribute to a team environment of trust and learning with multi-directional feedback

  • Partner with various 'lanes' within the Commercial Real Estate department to drive performance, multi-year objectives and value (Real Estate brokers, Construction Project Managers, Facility Maintenance Managers, other analysts etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to critically think through business and operational problems and leverage data to help drive solutions

  • Desire to innovate existing processes, develop recommendations, and implement solutions to help grow our business

  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks, identifying and acting on most important business problems to solve

  • Ability to take constructive feedback and quickly implement into your work

  • Intellectually curious, strong desire to learn, and comfortable working in an ambiguous environment

  • Willingness to learn and development technical skills with programs like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and our cloud reporting software Anaplan

  • Provide administrative support for all of the Commercial Real Estate systems and offer insights into how data can flow more effectively and efficiently throughout these systems and into various data visualization platforms

  • Bachelor's Degree in field (e.g. finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, business, etc.)

  • 0-2 years professional experience in analytics / quantitative field, or internship experience as well (e.g., finance, strategy, etc.)

The Salary Range for the role is $62,000.00-$91,000.00 per year.
