Description We have a client that is seeking a remote contractor to provide ongoing support for its BAAN-based ERP system, with a strong emphasis on finance operations. This role is critical to maintaining continuity as our team transitions toward SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and comfortable working across business functions to resolve issues and support application operations. Key Responsibilities: * Provide day-to-day support for BAAN (version 4) and BODS in a finance context. * Collaborate with business users to troubleshoot issues, resolve service tickets, and handle small project work. * Learn BAAN interfaces and EDI/ERP integrations from current team members transitioning to SAP. * Maintain and support a portfolio of 35 enterprise applications, with BAAN as the core ERP. * Work with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, manufacturing, and logistics to understand and address system-related issues. * Support configurable material projects and assist in pushing configuration tasks to business users. * Analyze and document processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement practical solutions. * Ensure smooth operations and continuity-this is a "keep the lights on" role, not focused on major project delivery. Qualifications * 6-8 years of recent BAAN experience * Strong communication skills Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
