Location: Clark, NJ

Pay: $30 hr.

Contract: 3 months

Description:

Experience in stability, batching of cosmetics or related field.

Skills Required:

Bachelor's +2 years exp/or certification/Diploma in Quality Control / Physical Measurements/ physical sciences, technical research experience in a laboratory setting, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, and clear communication skills.

Methodological and organized.

Rigor and critical sense in conducting analysis and reporting results.

Cooperative spirit and an ability to work in a team.

Feedback mindset to improve the processes.

Must be organized and have worked in a lab environment.

Autonomous working and have good background in math/science

Experience with pH, Microscopy, Viscometer/Rheometer, Foam analyzer. As a point of differentiation is a plus but not necessary.

Familiarity with batching equipment a plus - Olsa, disconti, silverson. As a point of differentiation is a plus but not necessary.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the physicochemical characterization and the evaluation of the performance of hair and cosmetics products while respecting the defined protocols and quality criteria (microscopy, rheology, and other internal methods, etc.).

Assist Design of Experiments to analyze the stability, aspect, viscosity, and in-vitro experiments

Explore new methods of formula characterization.

Ensure the complete traceability of characterizations: from sample recovery to data provision.

Contribute to the establishment of an operational flow of sample transfer logistics: from the formulation laboratory to the characterization laboratory maintain stability records

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
