As a Tradesman Helper, you will support a skilled tradesman in performing repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of construction equipment and hand tools. Your responsibilities will also include basic repairs, maintenance of buildings and grounds, and tasks related to construction or similar trades. The assignments are structured to enhance your knowledge and skills in the trade, with increasing complexity as you gain proficiency. This role requires significant physical effort and manual labor, all conducted under the close supervision of an experienced tradesman who will provide on-the-job training, assign tasks, and evaluate your work both during and after completion.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Overtime, shift-work, and travel may be required for emergencies, training, and specialized maintenance operations, dual shifts required for snow removal operations
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirements:

• This position requires possession of an active non-commercial Pennsylvania Class C driver's license or equivalent.
