Job Details

The Security Portfolio Management - Analyst I is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and management of the holistic Information Security portfolio and ensuring alignment of resources (financials, labor, services, tools, etc.) with organizational goals. The Portfolio Analyst I will support the design and execution of security portfolio management practices and guardrails including resource prioritization and allocation, portfolio risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement. They work on delivery of portfolio performance data and reporting to measure effectiveness, provide actionable insights, and drive continuous optimization of resources. They also assist with developing portfolio solutions and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in security portfolio planning activities and resource allocation

  • Assists in development and adoption of processes and procedures for security portfolio governance in alignment with enterprise-wide standards

  • Updates and maintains portfolio process and guardrail documentation

  • Gathers and tracks security portfolio performance metrics for review by senior management

  • Captures, maintains, and monitors portfolio performance reporting; follows up on actionable insights, risks, and continuous improvement opportunities

  • Participates in portfolio planning, analysis, and forecasting activities with teammates and partner teams (Finance, Sourcing, PPMO)

  • Supports teammates in guiding users on the usage and administration of security portfolio management tools

  • Collaborates with teammates and partner teams to enable cohesive alignment and integration of security portfolio objectives, processes, and guardrails across the organization

  • Supports peers and leaders in understanding and adopting security portfolio policies, guardrails, and best practices

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • Certification in Information Security Strategy Management (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • CompTIA Security + Certification
  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
  • TS-SCI Security Clearance Certification

Experience requirements:

  • 0-2 years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in information security.

  • Security Tools - SIEM, EDR, Email Security Gateway, SOAR, Firewall, Anti-virus, Firewalls, VPN IDS/IPS, AV, proxies, etc.
