Service Bench Technician

Rigaku is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Service Bench Technician to join our Service team in The Woodlands, Texas. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and refurbishing rotating anode assemblies to factory specifications. You'll work closely with Service, Shipping and Manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and refurbish rotating anode assemblies
• Operate and maintain anode balancing equipment
• Use lab instruments for diagnostics and testing
• Perform component adjustments using a manual lathe
• Assess and repair mechanical/electrical lab equipment
• Support additional service-related tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma required; technical school diploma a plus
• 1-4 years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in a hands-on lab environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands regularly
• Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
