DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will play an important role as the point of first contact for all visitors, family members, and vendors at our facility. You will be tasked with ensuring a safe and secure environment by protecting lives and property, as well as enforcing operational policies and regulations. Your responsibilities will include patrolling and monitoring all buildings and grounds, both on foot and by vehicle, to identify and address any fire or safety hazards. Additionally, you will respond to emergencies within the facility, providing support to manage and resolve critical incidents. You will also oversee all operational functions of the facility's communication center, mail services, switchboard, surveillance systems, and related equipment, while regulating the activities of residents, vendors, guests, employees, and the public.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40-hour work week
- Work hours are 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM), rotating days off including weekends. No unpaid lunch break.
- Overtime: As needed
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.

Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
