DESCRIPTION OF WORK
-
As a Dentist, you will provide dental services to all individuals residing at Selinsgrove Center, under the supervision of the Clinical Services Director. You will provide basic dental care, perform examinations, and provide dental treatments. You will also diagnose oral diseases and perform minor oral surgery. This role requires the ability to form effective working relationships with center staff and community providers, as well as a genuine desire to deliver essential oral health services to our residents. In addition, you will serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team and provide written annual dental summaries for each resident. Interested in learning more? - Part-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved school of dentistry.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Special Requirements:
- You must possess a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
