We are looking for a Buyer/Material Planner to join Temperature+ System Products, USA in Greenwood, Indiana to work with a dynamic team and deliver world-class temperature products. Endress+Hauser Temperature+System Products is one of the leading global suppliers of temperature measurement, temperature engineered solutions and system products.

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Responsible for purchase orders through lifecycle, including creation, confirmation, and goods receipt to ensure material availability to production.

  • Define, implement and manage comprehensive material replenishment strategies based on historical consumption, sales forecasts and/or customer projects to ensure the adequate supply of materials. Responsible for operative supplier relationships, resolving non-conformance events in collaboration with quality.

  • Executes purchasing and material planning activities for engineering changes.

  • Supports sourcing materials and identifying the preferred commercial route to achieve low costs, low risk and optimal logistics.

  • Represent Endress+Hauser Temperature and System Products from a purchasing standpoint on campus teams, global network projects and/or events

What do we expect from you?

  • Experience working for a manufacturer in a "made to order" environment

  • SAP/ERP and Material Planning experience

  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft programs

  • Excellent and concise verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in business administration or supply chain and at least 3 years of related experience; education may be substituted with experience and/or training
