We are looking for an Order Handling Specialist to join Temperature+ System Products, USA in Greenwood, Indiana to work with a dynamic team and deliver world-class temperature products. Which tasks will you perform?
- Work closely with the Sales Centers to ensure clean orders are received.
- Review and process manual purchase orders as needed.
- Determine production capacity availability.
- Check material availability and proactively follow up on material shortages with Material Planning.
- Manually change scheduled finish date and confirmation date on existing manufacturing order paperwork.
- Proactively propose alternative scenarios to better meet customer requests when needed and determine when escalation is required.
- Determine root cause and process delay of delivery notifications.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and help generate ideas.
- Work with production and manage past due recovery.
What do we expect from you?
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems (SAP is a must), and CRM Systems (SFDC is preferred).
- Customer focused, self-driven and capable of prioritizing as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Able to read, interpret and analyze business and technical documents
- Able to create and maintain positive working relations with local, regional, and international colleagues
- Associates degree along with 1-3 years' experience within a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
