Job Title: Quality Engineer Duration: 6 Months Location: Ridley Park, PA Shifts: First (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Responsibilities: Integrates contractual and client Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals, program processes, and documentation. Develops quality metrics, design, and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company, and regulatory requirements. Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified process capability levels are achieved. Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on: Supporting production. What are the Top 3-5 hard skills required to perform this role/job: Ability to read and retain complex specifications, Blueprint reading, and CAD systems. Root cause and corrective action - Troubleshooting complex problems (Problem solving). Manufacturing experience _Composite is ideal but rare, Automotive is next best, fabrication of large products like refrigerators or some mass-produced thing. Technical writing skill: Statistical experience or working with sets of data - ideal if some programming for DB search.
