The Construction & Manufacturing - Scheduling Team supports all of Haskell's delivery groups across the company and the projects throughout the United States. The Scheduling is part of Project Controls and works to ensure that the goals and project objectives are accomplished within prescribed timeframe.

During this internship, you will be working with our project scheduling team to assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of project schedules along with other assigned tasks. You participate in training programs and receive training in company management tools, standards, policies, and procedures. This is a great role for construction management or engineering students interested in construction with a leading design-build firm.

Job Responsibilities May Involve:

    Assist with the development of schedulings for estimating purposes
  • Assist with preparations of estimates-to-complete and cash flow projections for cost-loaded schedules
  • Assist with development of project schedules for business development and proposal submittals
  • Assist with maintenance of inidividual project schedules, including development of baseline reviews
  • Assist with monitoring the procurement and submittal schedule portions of project schedule
  • Work closely with project teams and attend meetings as requested

Education/Experience:

  • Construction Management or Engineering student enrolled at an accredited university

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

  • Knowledge of the construction industry, including methods, engineering, equipment, technology, and safety
  • Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
