Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team asa Quality Audit Analyst!

About the role

The Quality Assurance and Training Specialist will be a subject matter expert within the assigned department and Symetra Best Practices and Process. The position will identify learning opportunities, provide timely quality feedback and resolve issues while setting expectations regarding process, service in/or performance guarantees.

What you will do



  • Perform quality analysis of individual transactions to ensure: - financial and decisional accuracy - data integrity - proper use of internal and external resources and expense management as applicable - adherence to operational guidelines, workflow and procedures - adherence to legal and operational compliance requirements -Investigate best practices -Communicate quality results to managers and team members in a supportive and coaching manner


  • Develop training curriculum and ensure distribution/publication of materials. Train new hires in systems and workflows. Facilitate information sharing sessions, workshops and training modules as needed. Provide assistance with the development of procedures and practices. Maintain knowledge of presentation skills, new instruction techniques, and technologies. Assess skill gaps and make recommendations for the implementation of performance solutions. Collaborate with organizational partners to ensure delivery of services to internal and external customers. Ensure a process is in place to maintain a training calendar, training curriculum and training materials.
  • Participate in audits, projects, and initiatives as assigned. May be called upon to help with production work during peak periods

Compensation

Salary Range: $26.30 - $43.87 plus eligibility for annual bonus program

Who You Are



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 5 years of aligned experience
  • Identifies problems and relevant issues in complex situations, assessing each using past work experience to make sound decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Analyzes and resolves varied office problems; uses initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines.
  • May be relied upon in escalation situations. Generates new and innovative solutions to problems
