A Mechanical Technician role is open with our client in Chatsworth, CA. In this role your primary responsibility will be for supporting the mechanical assembly of test stands as well as some hydraulic assembly and electrical assembly (hooking up sensors, etc.) To be considered for this role you will have 5-7 years of related experience and a Bachelors degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our client is a leading global aerospace OEM trusted by the world"s aviation leaders. We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join their Test Engineering team.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the mechanical assembly of test stands as well as some hydraulic assembly and electrical assembly (hooking up sensors, etc.)

Software/Tools Used:
common troubleshooting tools (voltmeter, screwdriver and power supplies)

Top 3 Skills/Must haves:
HS diploma/GED
Hands on mechanical assembly/building skills
Experience with hand tools

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Mechanical assembly skills in a similar environment and/or ability to read blueprints is a plus but not required.
