Private Equity Specialist - Healthcare
Job ID: 102277

Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges-the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you've come to the right place.
Your Impact
In this role, you will conduct client due diligence to help investors make decisions on assets. This will involve analyzing investment theses including extensive financial modeling of target markets.
You will conduct sensitivity analysis as well as assess and determine market growth. You will also evaluate competitive landscapes and customer feedback, to forecast future state potential of asset and market.
You will work with client portfolio companies/investments on strategic and operational topics to enable growth and transformation as well as ensure value creation and accretion. You will mobilize content, create materials and develop perspectives on specific contextual topics with practice leadership and aid in building the knowledge of the domain.
You will be based in one of our offices in North America as part of our healthcare practice and dedicated to our Healthcare private capital group.
Our Healthcare practice is home to 500+ colleagues in North America consisting of consultants, deep content and technical experts, technologists and operational leaders. We come together, often as blended teams to improve healthcare. Our Healthcare practice serves North American payors, providers and services companies and works with both public sector and private sector healthcare organizations.
Our practice is organized around domains which house intellectual property and expert practitioners, centers of excellence and tribes (cross- functional special teams working to bring a distinctive approach to our clients in practice priority areas like digital and analytics).
You will work with the private equity, healthcare services and technology domain, an interdisciplinary team providing insights into the current and future healthcare landscape to clients across the healthcare ecosystem. You will be front and center for the client conversations that are part of the firm's healthcare landscape.
You will interact with leadership across the healthcare systems and services practice and will gain broad exposure to private equity portfolio companies within the space. You will be an integral part of client service teams serving private equity clients in healthcare with focus on healthcare services and technology.
Your Growth
Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues-at all levels-will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you'll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won't find anywhere else.
When you join us, you will have:
  • Continuous learning: Our learning and apprenticeship culture, backed by structured programs, is all about helping you grow while creating an environment where feedback is clear, actionable, and focused on your development. The real magic happens when you take the input from others to heart and embrace the fast-paced learning experience, owning your journey.
  • A voice that matters: From day one, we value your ideas and contributions. You'll make a tangible impact by offering innovative ideas and practical solutions. We not only encourage diverse perspectives, but they are critical in driving us toward the best possible outcomes.
  • Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm's diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions for our clients. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • World-class benefits: On top of a competitive salary (based on your location, experience, and skills), we provide a comprehensive benefits package to enable holistic well-being for you and your family.
Your qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor's or master's degree plus 4+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity or corporate strategy; healthcare experience is preferred
  • Comfortable interacting with senior leadership and working across multiple groups and stakeholders
  • Highly analytical with knowledge of business growth strategy
  • Extensive financial modeling skills
  • Experience working with Excel
  • Comfortable operating without a roadmap to achieve results and objectives
  • Adept at managing key stakeholders (client and internal)
  • Ability to drive initiatives
  • Passion for developing strong client relationships and partnering with various teams throughout the firm
  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative nature
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; clear and concise writing skills
  • Comfortable with traveling ~50% and being in the office ~4 days a week
