The Role

The Software Quality Assurance Intern will be responsible for Quality Assurance on various modular components of Integrate, although not necessarily in parallel. This includes authoring and governance, calculation engine, integrate financial projections, data management, and distributed computing.

Your Responsibilities:

Functional, regression, and ad-hoc testing.
Bringing and developing your AI/ML knowledge to help us incorporate AI/ML into our QA process and capabilities.
Using Large Language Models to automate generation of test cases based on requirements.
Using AI to enhance the QA process, such as test case prioritization and test case automation.
Building and maintaining automated test suites, preferably using Playwright.
As key initiatives unfold, opportunities may arise to contribute to the development of automated tests on those initiatives.

Time Commitment: This internship is a full-time seasonal position that requires significant time commitment and is not typically completed at the same time as college coursework. Our interns are available to work during standard business hours (8:30a - 5p, Monday - Friday) and willing to work extended full-time hours (at least 37.5+ hours per week).

Job Knowledge, Experience Skills

Job Knowledge Required:



  • Pursuing abachelor'sor master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Proficiency in Playwright.
  • Understanding of ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
  • Understanding of ML model evaluation and validation techniques.
  • Prior exposure to AI/ML projects.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and version control.
  • Knowledge of databases and development of database queries, preferably with SQL Server.


Experience and Soft Skills Required:



  • Previous internship or relevant work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated individual with a sense of intellectual curiosity and a results-oriented work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and ask the right questions to learn about the work and your involvement in it.


Location

Candidates hired into this role will be required to work in-person in the Milliman office in Chicago, IL on a weekly basis, but flexible work arrangements will be considered.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $23 - $41 per hour depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
